Leaders elected for Essential Ministry Teams

The EMTs have elected leaders, implemented their charters and are identifying new ways of relating and working together.
Soon there will be an orientation for all the members of the EMTs followed by the Fall Conference Table on Oct 28-29. This event will bring together all the EMTs plus the leaders of all the additional boards, agencies, committees and teams as well as staff of the Annual Conference. They will work together to empower local congregations and faith communitities to grow and become more effective all accreoss our annual conference.
An important part of these efforts is accountability. New job descriptions for all staff will be written and new ways for measuring our outcomes will be explored and implemented. We will all be working to reduce dubplication and increase cooperation and collaboration as we go about our calling in God's Kingdom.

The major goal of all this refocusing is to move all our local churches and faith communities into a revitalized and empowered ministry in the Wesleyan tradition.
